Hälsinggårdsskolan is looking for a licensed and qualified teacher in French for grades 6–9!

Hälsinggårdsskolan is a K-9 school with 750 students, of which 450 are in the upper grades. We share a common approach based on our values: "we meet everyone with safety, respect, responsibility, and joy" and through a common structure and leadership in the classroom. We are developing accessibility in the learning environment, for example through collegial work with extra adaptations, workshops in digital learning tools and platforms such as Digiexam, Unikum, and Google. Hälsinggårdsskolan's lecturer conducts action research on the concept of education, and with the support of lead teachers and special educators, we develop a scientific approach to meet all students' rights to guidance and stimulation.

Hälsinggårdsskolan works health-promoting and preventive together with various actors in the local community. We operate according to the collaboration model "Together for Every Child" which is a cooperation for support and early interventions.

Job Responsibilities

Teaching modern languages, French, as well as another subject. You will contribute to our students' development towards the criteria for knowledge in the best and most developing way. The assignment includes creating a safe and stimulating environment for our students. In your work, you are expected to use digital tools as a natural part of your teaching. The assignment also includes being a mentor, which means you will support and coach students in their development, conduct development talks, and maintain close dialogue with guardians and students. The mentoring role is carried out in close collaboration with a mentoring colleague. You will be part of subject teams and work teams with good opportunities for individual development and collegial learning. Within the subject team, there are good opportunities to collaborate and develop within the subject and teaching. We conduct student health work within the framework of the work team where you can receive support and relief from the student health team in accordance with the school's support structures.

Qualifications

The following is required for the role:

• Teacher certification in French for grades 6–9
• Additional subjects in your teacher certification
• You are well acquainted with applicable governing documents and have good digital competence

You are a safe and clear leader with a focus on the student's learning and goal fulfillment. Your teaching is based on solid subject knowledge and close pedagogical relationships. You have a high competence to meet students in their individual development based on their prior knowledge, abilities, and experiences. You see the student's learning from a holistic perspective and have the ability to create good student and parent contacts. You are engaged in school development issues and want to develop solution-focused together with other colleagues at Hälsinggårdsskolan.

Employment Conditions

Permanent full-time employment starting on 2025-08-11.
